Care Information
You probably won't be able to find this in any nursery. If it's already growing on your property, lucky you. This native is a springtime favorite of desert dwellers due to its deep indigo flowers. By July heat, the plant has typically dropped all of its leaves and gone dormant. We added a drip emitter to one growing at the garden to see if it would keep it from going dormant and it appears to have had minimal effect.
